Description
Founded in 1997, Clube Mini de Portugal (CMP) is the largest single-marque car club in Portugal and one of the country's leading organisations dedicated to the Classic Mini. The club was born following a gathering of twenty Mini enthusiasts in Santa Maria da Feira on 27 September 1997 and quickly developed into a nationwide community.
Clube Mini de Portugal brings together Mini enthusiasts from across mainland Portugal, the Azores and Madeira. Its activities include Mini meetings, road trips, social gatherings and technical support, while promoting the maintenance, preservation and restoration of Morris, Austin and Rover Minis and their derivatives.
The club has organised numerous events throughout Portugal and maintains relationships with other Mini clubs and enthusiasts both nationally and internationally. In 2018, Clube Mini de Portugal organised the International Mini Meeting (IMM) at Praia de Mira, bringing the international Mini community to Portugal for the first time.
With more than 2,650 membership numbers issued throughout its history, Clube Mini de Portugal continues to preserve and promote the heritage, friendship and enthusiasm surrounding the iconic Mini.
